Job Title: Resource & Scheduling Coordinator

Location: Flexible - able to travel within our operating region

Salary: £32,106 per annum

Job type: Permanent, Full Time. 37 hours per week.

Closing Date: 28th October 2026.

We are looking for three Resource & Scheduling Coordinators to join our team on a six month fixed term contract.

As a Resource & Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our Response Repairs operational teams and our Surveyors, ensuring works are planned and coordinated effectively to deliver a high quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities in the role will include –

  • Day to day scheduling of responsive repairs, balancing priorities, skills, location and customer commitments to make the best use of available resources.
  • Supporting the day to day management of our contracted repairs service, acting as the main operational contact for contractors. You’ll manage work orders, confirm appointments, chase outstanding works and escalate delays or issues.
  • You’ll liaise with surveyors, contractors and colleagues to resolve queries and keep accurate records of progress.
  • You’ll organise and lead regular contractor review and work in progress (WIP) meetings, reviewing outstanding orders, priorities and delivery risks. This will include preparing agendas, taking minutes, recording agreed actions and following these through to completion.
  • You’ll monitor and analyse contractor key performance indicators (KPIs), producing regular reports that highlight performance against agreed targets, trends and areas requiring improvement.
  • You will provide advice and support to customers while working closely with trade operatives, supervisors, colleagues and contractors, building strong working relationships to ensure the best possible outcomes.

About you:

  • You'll have some experience working in a planning, scheduling or coordination role, with the ability to manage a demanding and fluctuating workload.
  • Experience planning digital diaries for operatives within a repairs and maintenance environment would be advantageous.
  • You'll need to be organised, able to react quickly when priorities change and be confident managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • You'll have strong attention to detail and be comfortable making decisions in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience using Uniclass, ROCC and DRS would be desirable, although not essential.
  • You'll be comfortable learning new systems and ensuring information is always accurate and up to date.
  • You'll be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive working relationships with operatives, supervisors, customers and contractors.
  • You'll understand the importance of excellent customer service and take pride in helping to deliver a responsive, efficient and reliable repairs service.
  • You’ll be confident working with contractors, following up on commitments and managing work through to completion.
  • You’ll be comfortable organising and leading meetings, recording clear actions, and using performance data to identify trends and support service improvements.
  • Experience supporting contract management or monitoring contractor performance would be advantageous.

The roles are considered hybrid roles, enabling you to base yourself from home if you wish. Two of the opportunities we have will require weekly travel to our offices in either Devizes or Frome, so you’ll be suitably based to do this, with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
